Thamarai is Authorized to Receive Donations From Foreign Countries
As a service unit under the Auroville Foundation which has FCRA compliance. Thamarai can receive donations from foreign countries.
Regular donations are a wonderful support to our work, for example:
a) 30 euros = the monthly cost of a child in our after-school program,
b) 45 euros = the monthly allowance for a youth facilitator,
c) 75 euros = cost of a bus for a local excursion,
d) 140 euros = monthly cost of the daily nutritional snack for children and youth.

Tax Exemptions
Tax exemptions towards Thamarai Educational Projects are currently also available on donations from India, the USA, the UK, and Germany. Please email us for details.
Important for all donations, please do send a mail to Thamarai@auroville.org.in to inform us that you have made the transfer so we can track it and confirm once it is in our account.
