The children are designing
Thanks to the generosity of a resident in Auroville and a great team of workers, the learning centre’s compound wall and garden have begun! The children are designing it and excited to have flowers and fruits in abundance, see list below. They have been envisioning on paper and boards with Silky and have completed a visit to houses in their village where they collected cuttings and seeds that are now safely in a nursery they constructed from waste material. With the abundance of monsoon rains planting will begin this week. Special wishes are from 6-8th graders- Logith and Vignesh want to paint the garden walls, Kevin wants to fix an old solar cooker and make sunbaked chocolate cakes, Rakshan wants to have beautiful lotus flower and Kishor dragon fruit.
